A District Admin user has the ability to add a NTPE Supervisor((i.e., Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, Supervisor of Special Education, Supervisor of Pupil Services, and/or Supervisor of Vocational Education) to their district's portal.  It is important to remember that these users must have three roles assigned to them in the portal. That of NTPE, NTPE Supervisor and either Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, Supervisor of Special Education, Supervisor of Pupil Services, and/or Supervisor of Vocational Education). To create accounts for these NTPE Supervisors, please follow the directions below: 


After clicking on the Administration tab and then User Accounts...

  1. Expand the NTPE Supervisor folder in the “Roles” box on the left side by clicking on the plus sign
  2. Click on the desired NTPE supervisor role (i.e., Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, Supervisor of Special Education, Supervisor of Pupil Services, and/or Supervisor of Vocational Education)
  3. Click “Create User” button
  4. Enter all of the required information and click “Create Account”
  5. Click “Notify User” to send an email to the user with account information or click “Skip”
  6. Click the “Authorize Account” button at the bottom of the page
  7. Click on the Roles tab (located between the Account and Send Message tabs)
  8. From the roles drop down menu, select the “NTPE” role and click “Add to selected Role"
  9. From the roles drop down menu, select the “NTPE_Supervisor” role and click “Add to selected Role"
  10. Click the “Back” button (within the module NOT the back button on your browser) to repeat the process for the next NTPE supervisor.

    

Note – Building Principals only need one role in the system.  NTPE Supervisors need three roles.
