Due to the COVID-19 situation, PDE enacted Act 13 (2019-20) and Act 136 (2020-21), announcing that professional employee evaluations for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years will be based solely upon evidence from Observation and Practice. PA-ETEP has been adjusted accordingly to meet these state requirements. Please see the directions listed below for completing 82 forms within PA-ETEP.

Directions for Completing 82 Forms within PA-ETEP
When completing 82 forms for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years, simply open an 82 form and check the box in the upper right hand corner labeled Act 13/136 Applicable. Complete the remainder of the form and submit. Note...
- When the Act 13/136 Applicable box is selected, the 82 form will adjust so that 100% of the final score comes from the Observation and Practice domain rating section. See example screen grabs below.
- 82 Forms that have been previously saved for the 2019-20 or 2020-21 school year can be edited. Simply open the saved form, check the box for Act 13/136 Applicable and the calculations will adjust according to state guidelines.
In addition to the 100% Observation and Practice adjustment, the capacity for electronic signatures has been built into the software.
